Caring for Your Stained Glass

How to Keep Your Stained Glass Beautiful for Years

  • Avoid suction cups – They eventually fail and may cause breakage.

  • Use secure hanging methods – Hooks, eye hooks, or chains are safest. Hang from a stud or solid wooden frame.

  • Minimal cleaning is best – Dust occasionally. For deeper cleaning, use a soft damp cloth. Avoid chemicals or cleaners.

  • Safety note – Stained glass contains lead (absorbed only by ingestion/inhalation). Wash hands after handling.
